Annual Review Launches - January 2010

2009 Annual Review is Published

Monday 4th January saw the publication and launch of Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership's Annual Review of 2009. As we celebrate ten years since the Partnership was created to provide a voice for learnes and a focus for joint action to address learning needs, it has been a pleasure to look back on another successful year. We would especially like to thank the many partners who are passionate about learning and continue to be generous in their support.

As a result of our activities on the ground in 2008-9 with our partners, around 500 new learners were engaged. Often this engagement was accomplished by crossing boundaries, for example using cultural or health related activities to gain people's confidence. In addition, we have made a point of ensuring that support for communities with multiple needs is sustained and learning continues to be accessible.
