Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership Annual Conference 2010

On Friday 11th June over 60 delegates came together to debate priorities for an adult learning plan for Photo taken at Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership 2010 conferenceSurrey and hear presentations from Mark Ravenhall, Associate Director of NIACE and Martin Yarnit of Martin Yarnit Associates, one of the founders of Adult Learners' Week, who is currently supporting NIACE in the development of the national learning champions programme.

Strategic updates were given by representatives from the Skills Funding Agency and Surrey County Council, after which delegates took part in discussion groups to identify their priorities for funding and targetting. All individual and group feedback has been collated into a report which has been presented to the Surrey Adult Learning Transition Group at Surrey County Council on Monday 21st June and the findings will be used to help advise work on the forthcoming adult learning plan.
