Update on Integrated Employment and Skills - January 2010

The Learning and Skills Council has created a web page which brings together current news and documentation about Integrated Employment and Skills (IES). This is the current move to bring together services which help people to get a job, keep a job and progress in work.

IES is a growing agenda for the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills and the Department of Work and Pensions and a number of related stakeholders. As such, there is an increased need for information sharing across organisations. The new web page will seek to provide:-

• Up-to-date news and information about IES
• Related documents/research/papers
• Planning and other operational documents
• The work of IES-related groups and developments across the region
