Tenders Invited for National Citizen Service Pilot - August 2010

On 22 July David Cameron unveiled plans for the government's National Citizen Service (NCS) pilot, taking place in summer 2011. Organisations across the country are now being invited to get involved with delivery of the pilot, which will provide places for 10,000 young people. A competitive commissioning exercise will be launched on Monday 2 August 2010 for organisations to deliver these pilots.

Potential bidders / providers of NCS are invited to attend information events being held on the following dates:

Thursday 5 August 2010, London
Time: Sessions are being held at 1pm and 3pm
Place: Cabinet Office, Admiralty House, Ripley Courtyard (next to 26 Whitehall), Whitehall, London, SW1A 2DY
RSVP by Tuesday 3 August for security reasons.

Monday 9 August 2010, Sheffield
Time: Sessions are being held at 1pm and 3pm
Place: Department for Education, 2 St Paul's Place, 6th Floor, 125 Norfolk Street, Sheffield
RSVP by Thursday 5 August for security reasons.
