At a time when the employment landscape in Surrey is increasingly challenging, and the Covid pandemic has prompted a reliance on virtual working, we have launched a new project to provide targeted and specific support to enhance individual residents’ employability.

6 months

1-to-1 learning

Six month-long pilot project, funded by the Community Foundation for Surrey and run by the Surrey Lifelong Learning Project.

Providing virtual one-to-one buddy/learning mentor support for residents experiencing digital inclusion. This might include helping clients access online job searches, assisting them to enrol and join digital distance- learning courses or supporting them as they commence employment.

10 Individuals

Up to 10 individuals will be supported by the project, all of them 25+ years old and residents of Mole Valley. Those referred to the project will have been disadvantaged in progressing into work or workrelated learning by their personal circumstances.
